Corporate Espionage

If your business’s proprietary information has Rupee value, it may be a target. Business information theft is prevalent and invisible, and is getting easier and more lucrative considering today’s technology, and extremely competitive corporate climate. Threats include compromised trade and patent secrets, hacked company networks, employees using company assets to start competing businesses, or colluding with competitors and foreign governments.

As per Statistics, 69.6% of business professionals have stolen some form of corporate IP from their employer when leaving a job. 32.6% of employees leaving a job took sales proposals and/or presentations with them. 60.4% admitted to taking information such as customer databases and contact information.

When an employee or outside perpetrator is suspected of theft, industrial espionage, or simply engaging in acts against your company’s best interests, Sleuths India can respond quickly with a plan to eliminate potential losses. We have developed an investigative unit that specializes in corporate theft. To comprise this unit, we have recruited individuals with skills needed to obtain a high level of success with these types of claims.

These skills include, but are not limited to, investigators with several years of field experience, especially in areas of information gathering, development of information, interviewing, and interrogation techniques.

In most cases Law Enforcement Agencies are unable to assist corporations with the investigation of internal theft problems. Most investigations require several days of information gathering and interviews and interrogations in order to determine if a crime to the company has been committed and which employee(s) were involved. Due to the extended amount of time required for the investigation, Law Enforcement Agencies are not equipped with the man power to assign one to two detectives to your company to handle the investigation for several days at a time. Sleuths India theft crime unit can initiate an investigation usually within 6-8 hours.

Although the unit comprises some of our most skilled investigators, we feel initiating the investigation as soon as possible is critical in obtaining maximum results in recovery loss. Once the individuals have been identified, recorded and written confessions can then be obtained. At that time, management and the proper authorities will be contacted in order to initiate criminal and or civil actions against the individuals.

The investigators are familiar with all laws which govern cargo and theft crimes and work closely with local, state, and law enforcement agencies. We take time to understand your objectives for each case and essentially form a partnership toward achieving those goals.
